Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I pay via direct deposit?

A: Yes, just select to pay by cheque/money order and you will be rewarded with a description of our bank account details and how to mail your payment .

Q: Do you have a storefront?

A: Yes, we are located near Harbourtown on the Gold Coast. Just call us if you want to stop by. 1-300-STOKED.

Q: I'm going to be in the area, can I come by and pick up my order?

A: We don't have a retail storefront, but we can usually accommodate pick-ups (contact us first).

Q: How long will it take to get my stuff?

A: Orders are shipped next business day at the latest. Shipping time depends on the carrier used for your particular order, your location, etc.

Q: It says my order is "pending" -- what does that mean?

A: Orders have three states: pending, processing, and shipped. Pending means it hasn't been packed yet, processing means it's being packed, and shipped means that it's been shipped.

Q: I got my order, but I want to return something. What should I do?

A: Please see our Return Policy

Q: Can I have some stickers?

A: If you send us a self-addressed stamped envelope, we'll send you some stickers?

Q: I live outside Australia. What are the shipping costs?

A: Shipping costs depend on the total cost of your order. All prices are in Australia dollars. For purchases up to $10, the cost for shipping is $10. Purchases between $10 and $30, cost is $20. Purchases between $30 and $50, cost is $25. Purchases between $50 and $80, cost is $35. Purchases between $80 and $100, cost is $45. Purchases between $100 and $150, cost is $50. Purchases between $150 and $200, cost is $70. Purchases between $200 and $300, cost is $90. Purchases between $300 and $350, cost is $100. Purchases between $350 and $400, cost is $110. Purchases between $400 and $500, cost is $130. Purchases $500.01 and over, cost is $150.

Q: Will you sponsor me?

A: We sponsor events and assist individual riders. Send us a sponsor-me video.

Q: I saw something that I wanted on your site, but now it's gone. What gives?

A: Boardshop Australia utilizes a real-time inventory system. Items that are out of stock aren't displayed. This reduces confusion, backorders, and inconvenience for our customers.

Q: So-and-so is selling Ultra-Turbo-Widget trucks for $5 less, will you match their price?

A: Please refer to our Low Price Guarantee.

Q: I want to order one of your custom completes, but want different trucks, wheels, and bearings. How much will it cost?

A: On our standard custom completes, we allow wheel duro (aka, hardness) changes at no additional charge. If you want to change any of the components (i.e., trucks, wheels, etc), you'll need to purchase the individual items separately.

Q: Will my complete be ready to ride?

A: Unless you specify otherwise, your complete will come un-assembled. Assembly is free of charge however. Simply request assembly in the order comments box during checkout.

Q: Will you put my board together for me?

A: Sure, just put a note in the order comments when you place the order.

Q: Can you grip my deck for me?

A: Absolutely. Include a note in the order comments that you'd like the board gripped.

Q: I need my stuff super quick, can you overnight it to me?

A: Please contact us regarding expedited shipping options.

Q: How come you don't carry ?

A: We have extremely high quality standards, and some brands can't consistently meet those standards. Rather than carry every possible brand or model on the market, we prefer to "dive deep" and offer only the best products that will exceed our customers' expectations (at all price points).
