Yes, Zoo York really is based in New York City. The company started in 1993 and concentrates on skateboards and accessories. Mark Ecko is the owner and they sponsor skaters, surfers and BMX. The skate team includes Zered Basset, Brandon Westgate, Forrest Kirby, Aaron Suski, Kevin Taylor, Donny Barley. They also have amateurs including Eli Reed, Chaz Ortiz, Ron Deily, Lamare Hemmings, Anthony Sheller, and Matt Miller.
