2 CALIBER TRUCKS, 50 DEGREE BASEPLATES AND 9" HANGERS
The Fifty is built for speed.
The 50 Caliber Longboard Skateboard Truck is Caliber Truck Company's minimalistic interpretation of what a reverse kingpin truck should be. The beefed up hanger and snug bushing seat give these trucks a solid feel on the hill, while the 50° baseplate gives you enough carvability to make aggressive carves when pesky pedestrians cross your path. The "50 Cal" Caliber Trucks come stock with barrel and cone combo Blood Orange bushings.
Like all Caliber Trucks, the kingpin is made of grade 8 steel to ensure that your trucks will stay in one piece, no matter how hard you push them.
• Width: 150mm
• Actual (Axle) Width: 9 inches
• Baseplate Angle: 50°
• Drilling Pattern: New & Old School
We recommend the Caliber "Fifty Cal." and "Forty-Four" Longboard Trucks for top mount longboards. With certain wheel choices, they may cause wheelbite on drop through decks.
The 44 Caliber Longboard Skateboard Truck is Caliber Truck Company's minimalistic interpretation of what a reverse kingpin downhill truck should be. The beefed up hanger and snug bushing seat give these trucks a solid feel on the hill, while the 44° baseplate reinforces the feeling of stability by lowering the amount of motion transferred into the turn. The "44 Cal" Caliber Trucks come stock with double barrel Blood Orange bushings.
You can bust huge slides down hills and throw yourselves off nicely sized launch ramps to make sure these trucks are sturdy, and they do not disappoint. If you're into DH and freeride, the stock bushings on the 44 Cals should be just fine. If you're the carving and cruising type, check out Caliber's "Fifty Cal" Downhill Longboard Truck. If you're into DH and freeride, grab 2 packs of stiffer double barrel bushings from Venom or Khiro. If you're the carving and cruising type, the stock bushings should be just fine.
The Forty-Four is built for speed. The 44 degree hanger angle allows performance riders to push the limits of downhill racing. To further optimize the truck's stability, the Blood Orange Bushings are configured with two medium durometre barrels to avoid high speed wobbles. Like all Caliber Trucks, the kingpin is made of grade 8 steel to ensure that your trucks will stay in one piece, no matter how hard you push them.
